Four children were born to them: Vaclav, John, Frantisek and Maria. All four children were born in Rakov house #17. Frantisek also died here at the age of 5.
They arrived in New York on May 1, 1869 aboard the ship named Bremen and their departure port was in Bremen, Germany. All their vital records (their births, their children's births and their marriage record have the date January 13, 1869 and it says certificate issued to America
